Finnish fire safety leader Paloff Group joined forces with Swedish fire safety leader BST Group in spring 2022.

We at Paloff believe that the fire safety sector will continue to develop positively. The move to the BST Group will enable Paloff to grow its operations in Finland, as well as to offer services in other Nordic countries. The larger entity will also bring with it a wealth of expertise that we at Paloff will use to create an even safer future for fire safety.

PK Sprinkleriasennus Oy has become a part of the leading Nordic fire safety operator BST Group through an acquisition on 1.12.2022.

PK Sprinkleriasennus Oy had a turnover of EUR 3.1 million and an operating profit of EUR 0.2 million in the financial year 2021 and employed a total of 10 people. PK Sprinkleriasennus merged on 31 May 2023 with Paloff Sammutusjärjestelmät Oy, a member of the BST Group, forming a significant fire safety entity in Finland.

As part of the arrangement, the shareholders of PK Sprinkleriasennus Oy have become shareholders of the BST Group, which after the arrangement will have an annual turnover of approximately EUR 140 million and 643 employees.

On 19 December 2022 PK Sprinkleriasennus Oy and Paloff Sammutusjärjestelmät Oy have signed a merger plan according to which PK Sprinkleriasennus Oy (business ID 27364875) will merge with its sister company Paloff Sammutusjärjestelmät Oy (business ID 21860755).

The merger will take effect on 31.5.2023.
The reason for the merger is the consolidation of businesses and the expansion of the activities of the acquiring company.

PIL Becomes Part of the Nordic BST Group on 12 June 2023

The Nordic region’s leading fire safety operator, BST Group, expands its business in Finland. PIL Paloilmoitinliike Consulting Oy became part of BST Group, the leading Nordic fire safety operator, through a business acquisition completed on 12 June 2023. PIL Paloilmoitinliike Consulting Oy’s revenue for the 2022 financial year was EUR 2 million, operating profit was EUR 260,000, and the company employed a total of 17 people. PIL Paloilmoitinliike Consulting Oy is BST Group’s fourth acquisition in Finland. The Group’s previous acquisitions, Paloff Sammutusjärjestelmät Oy, Paloff Insinööritoimisto, and PK Sprinkleriasennus Oy, form a significant fire safety business entity in Finland.

As part of the completed transaction, the shareholders of PIL Paloilmoitinliike Consulting Oy have become shareholders in BST Group, whose annual revenue after the transaction is approximately EUR 151 million. BST Group currently employs approximately 700 people.

“The company will continue its business operations as a separate unit, under its own brand. The company’s management and employees will continue in their current roles, and the company’s contact details will remain unchanged.
